You hear music every day, but have you ever wondered how music is created and performed? This book, which has the subtitle A Guide to Creating, Performing, and Promoting Your Songs, explains some of the mystery. The chapter titles explain the contents well: Making Music, Form a Band, Write On!, and so on. The book is full of great tips, from explaining all the parts of a song to creating a band complete with a logo, t-shirts, and posters!

I liked how this book took you step-by-step to make you a rock star. I learned the structure of a song, the steps to make my own song, and also why music matters to people. I thought it was an interesting book for people who really like music. It was fun to read and just made me want to read more. I would give this book a score of nine out of 10. It was exhilarating!
